COINS Trust
Hits :242 Since 1984, Christians in and around Newbury have been interested in working in schools and supporting staff in various ways. Eventually the opportunities for input into the school curriculum became too great for these volunteers to accomplish alone.
COINS Trust was formed in 1995 and Scripture Union offered help in setting up the project.
Local churches and individuals were informed about the charity and were asked to give their support to the work. Andy Noble was the first Secondary Schools’ Worker. Tonia Matthews succeeded him. In 1999 Jacquie Gardner and Esther Grisenthwaite were appointed to work in Primary Schools. The trust currently has an expanding team of workers led & managed by Tania Wolak. We cooperate with Youth Workers and Volunteers from local churches. Local schools welcome visitors from across the denominations in all sorts of roles!

London City Mission
Hits :308 Sharing Jesus Christ with all London. The London City Mission exists to share with the people of London, patiently, sensitively and individually the transforming love of God in Jesus Christ, and to enable them to join his Church. The London City Mission (LCM) was founded in 1835 at a time when London was growing rapidly and was the largest city and port in the world. A number of Christian leaders recognised that the churches were failing to attract the new urban masses into their services and that therefore the churches must go to the people with the Gospel.

Mandritsara Trust
Hits :289 In 1996 a small mission hospital called the Good News Hospital was opened in Mandritsara, a market town in the northern interior of Madagascar. This is a remote but populous area, where almost everyone lives by subsistence farming - mainly of rice and cattle.
The hospital was begun by a team from Africa Evangelical Fellowship, working in partnership with Malagasy Christians from the Association of Bible Baptist Churches of Madagascar. This indigenous group of churches, which is now fully responsible for the hospital project, was the fruit of the former Madagascar Bible Mission, begun in 1932 by Brynlee Evans and his wife, who were missionaries from Aberdare in South Wales.
Gospel work in Mandritsara is different from other parts of the island - such as the capital, Antananarivo, which has many Evangelical churches and much Christian activity, and some southern areas where there is opposition to the gospel.
Madagascar is bigger than France!

Messianic Testimony
Hits :244 Telling Jewish people about their Messiah. Our passion to reach Jewish people takes those who share our vision into the heart of Eastern Europe and as far north as St Petersburg in Russia; such folks are also active throughout the UK, Germany and France, with occasional visits into Portugal and Gibraltar. Many lives are also being touched in the Cape Town region of South Africa. We have an extensive and rapidly growing ministry in the land of Israel itself. These are exciting days to be involved in taking the message of God's love 'to the Jew first'.

Yeldall Manor
Hits :283 Yeldall Manor provides residential rehabilitation for men with drug and/or alcohol addictions. Yeldall Manor is a residential rehabilitation centre, set in 38 acres of Berkshire countryside near Wargrave, Reading. For over 30 years, we have been helping men to overcome serious drug or alcohol addictions and return to society to live new lives, drug, alcohol and crime free.
We offer two consecutive programmes, lasting up to eleven months in total, followed by a year's support in the community.
The programmes combine work in the house and grounds with therapeutic groups and counselling. We are a Christian organisation and all our staff and volunteers are Christian. We believe that the best means of achieving rehabilitation is through discipleship to Jesus Christ. However, men do not have to be Christian to join the programme, and we never insist upon such a commitment.
